There’s Room to Grow

Consider Starting a Group

OCHEC proactively supports the growth of local connections. Please consider registering as a Support Group with the intention to receive members as God sees fit.

You can register with just one individual member as a leader. There is no minimum number of members to start. We gladly support your interest to serve!

Your contact information will be added to a confidential database, and your Area Rep will contact you, giving the new person’s information to you for you to reach out.

Leaders and Members will be asked to affirm OCHEC’s Constitution & By-Laws.

Recent Structure Change

Group Leaders

As of August 2020, no money will be submitted to OCHEC by Support Group Leaders. Each member is invited to join as an OCHEC individual. Members will be given their OCHEC ID (membership number) directly via email from the office.

Support Group member rate is offered no matter the size of your group; voting privileges begin at a minimum of five OCHEC members.

*See Becoming a Member page for details.

Please email info@ochec.org for any questions about registering.

How to Register

Step 1: Take Out Membership

OCHEC does not currently require any members of the support group to have membership with OCHEC in order to set up a support group acknowledged by OCHEC. However, OCHEC prefers that at least one of your members is a member of OCHEC, in order to keep you better informed and connected.

If you would like to become an individual OCHEC member, click here and follow the steps for individual membership, but be sure to return to this page for the support group membership.

Step 2: Submit Application Form

As a member, you can register your group by filling out the application form below.

Step 3: Review & Approval Process

Once we have received your application, we will follow up by phone or email to confirm any details.

It is required that the support group be registered by one of the support group leaders, and this leader is required to read and affirm the OCHEC Constitution and agree with the OCHEC Statement of Faith (Article 4 of the Constitution).
